empowered parenthood trust

We started our charitable trust in order to provide learning, resources and empowerment to allow whānau to both retain their ‘tino rangatiratanga’ (self determination and sovereignty) and to support them to raise heart-centred tamariki (children) in their chosen way.

Our first project is our currently running - a free holistic postnatal support clinic which runs every Monday from 10am-1pm in Petone, Lower Hutt (except school holidays) - we look after whānau and babies' wellness.

Our next project is providing free antenatal classes for and specific to the whānau attending the education in certain areas of Lower Hutt, Wellington. If the pilot is successful, it will be rolled out to other areas in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
